You say “meatball,” we say “polpetta.” That’s Italian! In this class, we’ll make traditional meatballs using Maria’s Sicilian Grandmother’s much-loved recipe. Meatballs aren’t made just of meat. Savory non-meat meatballs of eggplant and porcini mushrooms are also on the menu. Bring a 3-quart pot with a lid to take the eggplant meatballs and sauce (which we will also make in class)home. The traditional "meat" meatballs will go home in a zip lock bag for you to freeze or put into your favorite sauce. Amore! A materials fee, payable to the instructor, is $20.
